At Vallarta Adventures, our safety record is unparalleled [good to know if you're rappelling down a waterfall or swinging from tree-to-tree in the jungles of the Sierra Madres,] our guides are fully trained and our equipment is state-of-the-art. On our Outdoor Adventure and Canopy Tours, you'll find a wide variety of equipment - the gear that our guests wear and the tour elements. The quality climbing and technical gear that our guests wear offers the ultimate in safety while providing a comfortable fit to people of all ages and sizes. All of the climbing gear is either CE certified or UIAA (United International Alpine Association) or NFPA (National Fire Prevention Agency) certified. Before every tour, it is visually inspected by our tour leaders, and a comprehensive inspection is made by two equipment specialist every 15 days. The tour elements, such as the platforms, rappel ropes, tyrolean traverse ropes, and other fun elements like the Burma bridge or the commando bridge - equipment that normally would be used for rock climbing, rappelling, rescue, speleology, etc. - is manufactured in France and the US to the highest safety standards. To continue that standard, we utilize daily safety checklists and inspection procedures to ensure a safe ride on the elements. Then, once a week, two technicians go through the tour with a detailed check list, inspecting every nut and bolt on the tour including the platforms, ropes, safety lines and the anchors to which these are all attached.
